Another Toy Story! VBS 2011
From the producers that brought you The Price is Right, Power Up with Jesus (featuring Mario and Luigi), and CIA Training Camp, comes an awesome new VBS experience: Another Toy Story! It's been an incredible week here at EBC with our VBS program. We are thankful that you have allowed your children to come and be a part of this special week. We wanted to take this time to give you a quick summary of some of the things that we have been teaching the kids.

Night 1 - The theme of Night 1's lesson was "Who do you say that Jesus is?" The kids were taught that this is the most important question they will ever have to answer because God knows their hearts and knows what they really believe and His Son. It's also important because our answer to this question will determine our eternal destiny and our lifes direction. Attendance for Night 1 was 83 kids!!
Night 2 - This night focused on temptation. The enemy wants us to be tempted by the pleasure of sin, and hides the devastating consequences of sin from us until it is often too late! God's ways are always best. Even if they seem harder at first, they will lead to greater pleasure than sin ever could. Attendance for Night 2 was 106 kids!! A new record for EBC's VBS, but not for long.
Night 3 - Night 3 focused on how Jesus came to earth and took on human flesh to warn us of the consequences of sin and to die to pay the penalty for our sin. The kids were challenged to care more about pleasing God and their parents more than they care about what their friends think. They were also challenged to live for things that will matter for all of eternity, rather than just temporary things. Attendance for Night 3 was 126 kids!! The new record for EBC's VBS!!! Praise God...!!
Night 4 - We closed out the week by teaching that Jesus is Living Water. As Living Water, Jesus provides us with eternal life and satisfies the longings of our soul. Everything else we turn to, to try to satisfy our souls is a broken cistern that cannot hold water, and even if it could, the water it would hold could never satisfy. Attendance for Night 4 was 125 kids!!
Thank You, Parents!! We so appreciate you partnering with us to teach your children about the Lord Jesus Christ! We hope to see you next year!

Skate Park Event 2010
EBC was a proud primary sponsor of the Untitled Skateboard's demonstration at the Paulding Skate Park on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. We had well over 250 people in attendance. There were prizes, give-aways, and an opportunity to skate with the pros. After the event, all the skaters had a competition to who had the best trick. The winner of this competition was awarded an Untitled Skateboard!
Professional Skateboarder Jud "Farmboy" Heald started the Untitled Skateboard company five years ago and assembled a team of other skateboarding pros and quality amateurs to travel the country presenting skateboarding demos and motivational speeches. Over the past five years, Untitled has presented hundreds of demos all over the United States and throughout the world. Their products are featured monthly in skateboarding magazines such as "Focus" and "Thrasher." The Untitled team currently consists of pros Jud Heald, Bo Celenze, Jared Lee, Tim Byrne, and Uriel Luebcke, and six first-class amateur skaters, and four members of the team were here in Paulding.
